The history of Sikh Guru Har Rai Sahib Ji

Guru Har Rai Sahib Ji was the seventh guru of Sikhs born in the district of Rupnagar at Kiratpur Sahib in Punjab in 1630. Guru Har Rai Sahib Ji was the son of Baba Gurdita Ji and Mata Nihal Kaur Ji.  He received Guru Di Gaddi after the Sixth master Guru Har Gobind Sahib Ji and his Grandfather on 8 March 1644. Guru Har Rai Ji married to Mata Krishan Kaur Ji who had two sons Baba Ram Rai Ji and Sri Har krishan Sahib Ji. Once Dara Shikuh son of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan visited Guru Sahib and asked for the help in the war against his murderous brother Aurangzeb. Then after Guru’s force not only attained victory but hide the ferry boats on which they had been escaped. Once Guru Har Rai and his force was returning home after the tour of Majha and Malwa region of Punjab, Yagreb Khan son of Mukhlis Khan attacked with thousands of army on the kafila of Guru Sahib. Sikhs attained victory with the few hundred over thousands.
                                               Guru Sahib established the Health Centre in Kiratpur Sahib, Punjab. One day son of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan Dara Shikuh suffered from serious illness with some unknown disease. He knocked almost every door but there was no benefit of it. At last he visited Guru Sahib and asked for the disease, Guru Sahib gave him the ayurvedic medicine from the centre. Dara Shikuh felt heartily thankful after his curing from the disease and offered Guru Sahib a portion of land guru sahib declined it.
